The race format
The aim is to visit as many mountain restaurants (Bergbeizen) as possible within one day. You can either start in the Fun category or the Sport category.
Sport category
In the Sport category, you may only move on foot or with a paraglider and you must carry your paragliding equipment with you at all times.
The sport category is part of the Swiss Cup Hike & Fly of the SHV and is listet as Cat2-Event by CIVL .

Fun category
In this category, the mountain restaurants are visited on foot, by paraglider and with all public transport and mountain railways. Paragliding equipment must also be carried at all times.
Collect points:
Each mountain restaurant is visited on the ground and is worth 1 point. In order for the points to be counted, participants must be back at the starting point before the finish.
The three people with the highest number of points in each men's and women's category will receive attractive prizes.
Special tasks:
Exciting special tasks are again announced the evening before. These may not help you to win a podium place, but they will put a smile on your face. There are great prizes to be won.
Watch it:
It has never been easier to watch a hike and fly race. You can enjoy a cosy meal and drink in a restaurant while watching the athletes arrive and take off again with the paraglider. There will also be live tracking for all those who want to follow the action from home. Live-Tracking .
